Moving around: It is very recommended to hire a 4×4 car, public transportation is not always comfortable to use and it doesn’t arrive for some of the birding destinations. Please note that some of the roads may have many holes, so you need to drive carefully or alternatively hire a local driver which is familiar with the local roads.
Where to stay and eat: In most places accommodation and restaurants are available at a reasonable distance from the birding sites:
- Kinjila: Accommodation and restaurants are available at Calandula town, about 30 minutes from Kinjila.
- Santa Ambuleia: Accommodation and restaurants are available at Caxito city, about 20 minutes from Santa Ambuleia.
