The Birds of Angola
Just over 1000 species of birds have been recorded, of which 14 are endemic, and at least 30 more near-endemic. The major draws for visiting birders are Angolan endemic birds, Congo Basin rainforest birds, Namib Desert endemics, Miombo specialties, and a variety of other localized species.
